thanks praveen. similar to what praveen said, i was going to say that
figuring out how you're going to have money is the main thing. if you have
a source of income now, i'd recommend saving. if you don't, obviously
you're working on it and you don't need my advice.

also, can't go wrong with figuring out how to live very cheaply. a lot of
sudoers i know already do this!
