[sudo-discuss] Just a reminder of how ridiculous crowd funding is

One important point is that kickstarter.com is not a very good way to get
your project known. There are very few people out there just waiting for
your project to appear so they can contribute. You MUST aggressively market
your kickstarter campaign using every available channel. It is up to you to
get it known via all sorts of social networks (both online and real world),
personal contacts, business associates, billboards, whatever you've got.

I've seen several campaigns fail miserably because the folks weren't able
to get the word out well enough.
