So i heard the door system isn't working.  We should fix that.

I made the door system at noisebridge, which has worked very reliably 
since day one.  Part of that reliability is that the computer it's 
connected to has been very reliable, but also i made sure to 
compartmentalize the hardware.  Anytime you have something hard wired to a 
computer (the way we have things hardwired to the delicate raspberry pi) 
you risk instability.

I would like to get together with the other people who worked on the door 
keypad system IRL (in real life) and offer what i can to make it more 
reliable.  It seems like it would solve a lot of problems if we could.
