[Mesh] [FNF] Fwd: grant

Pete - Had Charles proposed collaborating with us in applying for the
grant, then this would fit into the model you're describing. However,
having both of our orgs apply for the same single grant is effectively
directly competing with us for the same pot, since we're both working on
similar projects. And, since we're a newer project and have yet to deploy
any nodes, FNF is considerably more likely to win it.

I of course support open submissions and reporting, hence my creation of this
wiki page <https://sudoroom.org/wiki/Funding> on the sudoroom wiki.
