I agree with you and would be happy to personally delete information from
wordpress whenever it can be effectively posted on the wiki. That being
said, the only information that should be on the wordpress and not
necessarily the wiki is information that is good for users landing on
sudoroom.org trying to get basic information.

The ideal to me was when we had the WPMW extension working, tying wordpress
accounts and mediawiki accounts together:
https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:WPMW I've been bummed ever since
it stopped working mysteriously ;)

No worries, thanks for keeping an eye on security and challenging some of
the assumptions I'm making. I'm glad to have written it all out coherently,
I've been sort of nose-deep in it.
