[sudo-discuss] Can you provide a little feedback on my hardware project on Kickstarter?

Version 1.0 of the board layout is complete. I am in the process of
obtaining quotes for the bill of materials and cost to produce the board
from contract manufacturers. The end result would be that people can place
orders for the board modules directly with the contract manufacturer and
thus be able to purchase these boards for only $20-30 depending on
quantity. There would also be an open source hardware project on github
where people can produce variations on the designs.

The crazy idea here is that the board would be produced on demand with a
minimum quantity of say 10 units for a total of ~$280. Since nobody is
holding inventory this would eliminate a layer of profit-taking and pass
the savings on to the buyer.

If funded successfully the Indiegogo project will raise the funds needed
for the initial manufacturing setup and testing as well as sell maybe 100
boards for the initial production run.

Anyway, I would like to visit Sudo room sometime and check out your new
space. Let me know the best time when a non-member could show up to check
out the space.

Peace.
