[sudo-discuss] heavy duty sewing machine of some sort available near sudo room

I don't think I'm available tomorrow at all to help with securing it, but I
can pledge $40 towards the purchase of the machine, assuming it is a useful
one.

There are lots of kinds of industrial sewing machines; each machine is
built specific for one function, and does it extremely well.

Ideal for thicker leather would be a 'walking foot' machine; i'd love one
of those! A single-needle or straight-stitch (most basic or 'normal' sewing
machine) would be super useful too, and can be used for some leather
projects. Even industrial zigzag would be fun.

Sewing machine transport tip: if it is full of oil, drain and reserve the
oil.
