[sudo-discuss] state of the room / access

I started up the 3d printing workstation last night and the console wasn't
working, and not because the keyboard and mouse weren't plugged in, because
they were. I didn't dig beyond that but it may not be a fluke and there may
be minor troubleshooting to do.
